Laura Jane Williams is the author of 14 books.

Known as the queen of the cute-meet, her adult romantic comedies include worldwide bestseller Our Stop, as well as The Lucky Escape, Enemies to Lovers, and her latest Love at First Sight. Her novels have been translated into scores of languages all around the globe and have been endorsed by superstar stalwarts Dolly Alderton and Emily Henry, Beth O’Leary and Jacqueline Wilson, to name just a few.

Laura is also the author of teen books Taylor Blake is a Legend and Taylor Blake Seizes the Day.

As a non-fiction author and magazine columnist Laura has made headlines. Grazia magazine once said she is a ‘general all-round-speaker of what-is-in-our-heads’, Stylist said her honesty and voice are unique - and invited her to write an essay for their Life Lessons from Remarkable Women book - and Marie Claire made Laura their #BreakFree from Fear ambassador. The Independent even called her ‘a happiness expert’.

Laura is currently undertaking a career change. Maybe. Possibly? She’s not sure. It turns out, books light up her brain but pastoral work with teenagers feeds her soul, so in addition to her novels she’s studying children and young people’s mental health and working in a high school. Apparently she contains multitudes. Don’t we all? If you’re interested in following the journey, she writes about it all on her Substack How to Build a Life.

The cornerstone of all Laura’s work, be it fiction or real life, is encouragement to go all-in on the adventure of your own life. When she’s not telling stories or completing her studies, she loves being a parent, CrossFit, and is getting into gardening.
